One Book One London Book Club Discussion: Indigenous Culture - Resiliency, Appropriation & Appreciation

All three book club topics touch on themes in The Marrow Thieves, drawing connections to events and symbols with current events, Indigenous issues, and culture. Book club sessions will be faciliated by Sara Mai Chitty. 

  • Friday February 1, 12pm-1pm: Indigenous Culture - Resiliency, Appropriation and Appreciation 
  • Friday March 1, 12pm-1pm: Truth and Reconciliation - Residential Schools; Impact; Is Reconciliation Possible?
  • Friday April 5, 12pm-1pm: Dreaming a Better Future - Bodies, Land and Blood Memory

All Fanshawe faculty, staff and students are welcome to attend, but book club discussion space is limited. Advanced registration is preferred but walk-ins are welcome pending space availability
