This workshop is designed to give you foundational chemistry knowledge.

Topics covered in this workshop include:

  • What is chemistry and why is it important?
  • The Scientific Method
  • Atoms/Molecules/Compounds
  • The Periodic Table
  • Why do reactions occur?
  • Chemical Formulas
  • Scientific Notation
  • Rounding Rules/Significant Figures
  • Units and Conversions
  • Dimensional Analysis
  • Uncertainty/Order of Magnitude

This will be presented virtually via Zoom.
